Sunday Gathering: Faithful Exiles

We’re beginning a brand-new teaching series through the book of Daniel — Faithful Exiles, exploring what it means to live with courage, conviction, and hope in a culture that doesn’t always share our faith. In Week 1: Consecrated Courage, Ladaea Rylander will open Daniel 1 — where Daniel and his friends are taken into exile and face the pressure to conform. They learn to live in Babylon but not of it — participating without being absorbed, saying yes to service but no to compromise. Come ready to be formed for faithfulness — God is raising a people who shine with holy presence even in exile.

Still Building: God’s Purposes in the Middle of the Story
A 5-Part Series in Ezra–Nehemiah leading to Vision Builders Sunday

We find ourselves in a season that mirrors the story of Ezra–Nehemiah: a community disrupted, yet called to rebuild. After the upheaval of nearly losing our building and the reality of being redirected to a new place, God is awakening us to deeper discipleship, bolder proclamation, and greater unity in Malmö.

Ezra–Nehemiah is a case study in both God’s faithfulness and the fragility of human response. These books remind us that history is in God’s hands, that His people are called to covenant faithfulness in the midst of cultural pressure, and that true renewal is always His work, not ours.

Over 5 weeks we’ll explore:

  1. God’s Hand in History — Seeing our present moment through God’s sovereign purposes.

  2. Putting God’s House First — Learning to prioritise His presence and mission above our comfort.

  3. A People Set Apart — Renewing holiness and faithfulness in the middle of cultural cross-pressure.

  4. Rebuilding Together — Embracing unity and perseverance in the face of opposition.

  5. Vision Builders Sunday — Responding with faith, prayer, and commitment to what God is building among us.

This series will weave together confession, renewal, and vision as we seek God’s heart for our church. In the middle of the story, He is still building — and He is calling us to build with Him.

Join Us This Sunday at 10:30am for a New Series
Through the Waters: Entering the Story of God 🌊

This week, we launch a 3-part series on Baptism — exploring how it’s not just a personal symbol, but the God-given way we step into His story as His people.

In Part 1: The Invitation, Justin will open the Scriptures to show how God calls us into covenant and belonging. Like a bridegroom inviting his bride, God offers us a public, committed relationship rooted in grace and faithfulness. Baptism is the “I do” — our entry into this covenant life.

📝 You can follow the message references and take notes (in any language) with our BibleApp event page: http://bible.com/events/49475323

📺 The message will be live streamed around 11:15am on our YouTube channel and available later in the week on our podcast.

Come ready to step deeper into God’s story — not as a spectator, but as a participant.
